Selah — In Christ · Effective July 22, 2026
Selah does not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no tracking, and no advertising. What you do inside Selah stays on your own device.
Selah does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or any other personal detail. We do not create a profile of you, and we do not sell or share data with anyone, because we do not gather it in the first place.
The realities you keep, any private notes you write, your chosen language, and your reading streak are saved only in local storage on your own device. This information never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. Removing the app removes this information with it.
When you use the read-aloud feature, the text is spoken by your device's own built-in voice system. No audio is recorded, and nothing you hear or read is sent anywhere.
Selah is delivered as a web application through our hosting provider, Netlify. Like nearly all web hosts, Netlify may automatically record standard technical request information, such as an IP address and browser type, for the purpose of securely delivering the app. This is handled by the host for delivery and security only; Selah itself does not read, retain, or use this information. Once Selah has loaded, it works offline and makes no further requests.
Selah is suitable for people of all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Because no data is gathered, none is gathered from children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Because Selah does not collect data, we do not anticipate material changes.
